About MoneroMarketCap

MoneroMarketCap tracks Monero (XMR) alongside the wider cryptocurrency market, with prices and market caps that can be valued directly in XMR. It's built for people who think in Monero first and want a clean, privacy-respecting way to follow the market.

MoneroMarketCap is a project from Monerica, a curated directory of Monero-accepting merchants, services, and resources. It's part of a small family of Monerica tools built around the Monero ecosystem, and like the rest of the project it's open source — the full source code is available on GitHub.

Market and price data is provided by the CoinGecko API. Monero's own supply figures may additionally be verified against a self-hosted Monero node where available. Data is cached and refreshed periodically, so values can lag the live market by a few minutes.

Exchange data is provided through a partnership with SwapRaven, a vetted directory of no-KYC crypto swap exchanges. Each coin page lists the exchanges that support that coin — with SwapRaven's grade, KYC and AML posture, and fees — linking through to the full profile on SwapRaven.
